Earwax removal
Earwax is a natural substance produced by our ear canals and plays a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of our ears. It usually falls out on its own but a build up can cause symptoms such as reduced hearing, earache or a feeling your ears are blocked, ringing or buzzing in your ears (tinnitus) or vertigo (feeling dizzy and sick). We understand the impact of excessive earwax on your hearing and well being and our doctors provide safe and effective treatments to remove the wax.

We are Dr's O'Doherty and Dr Coulson. We offer a private service covering the Bridgend and surrounding areas. During a consultation, we will take a history, examine both ears for wax and remove where needed.

The procedure will require patients to keep still for a period of time and the process of wax removal can be a little noisy. We endeavour to complete treatment in one consultation, however, in some circumstances a repeat procedure is needed 2 weeks later. If deemed necessary, this would be provided at no extra cost.
